KYOCERA Document Solutions
As a healthcare organisation, you face growing pressure to prove your healthcare ESG credentials: where your equipment comes from and what it costs the planet. That means you need suppliers who can give you clear evidence of how their products are designed, manufactured and managed throughout their lifecycle.
Kyocera has spent more than three decades building document infrastructure around long-life product design to reduce waste and energy use, along with transparent certifications that support your own healthcare ESG compliance and procurement evidence. Our founding philosophy, doing what is right, shapes how the company treats its people, partners and the environment it operates in.
This page gives you an overview of Kyocera’s healthcare ESG approach, with links to further articles on longevity-led product design, Scope 3 evidence, social responsibility and future healthcare trends. What This Healthcare ESG Commitment Looks Like in Practice
Built to work in harmony
Kyocera began as a small ceramics company in Kyoto in 1959, built around a founder's instruction to do what is right. That principle still shapes decisions today, from product design through to how the company reports its progress to regulators and customers.
We believe technology should work in harmony with people and the planet, not at their expense.”
Kyocera Founding Philosophy, est. 1959
Engineered for a long life
Since 1992, ECOSYS technology has focused on long-life components designed to extend device life. Longer-lasting devices can reduce their environmental impact over time and require fewer service visits, which can also help limit disruption in clinical areas.
Evidence your reporting depends on
Scope 3 reporting depends on the quality of the supplier data behind it. Kyocera’s TEC ratings, recycling programs and externally verified emissions targets provide supporting documentation that healthcare organizations can use in their reporting and procurement decisions.
Ready for what comes next
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and evolving procurement criteria are putting more focus on sustainability, including the lifespan of the equipment healthcare organizations buy. Kyocera’s established approach to sustainability reporting and certification can help healthcare organizations meet these expectations as they develop.
