Kyocera's Connected Products and Related Services

Kyocera manufactures MFPs and Printers that are internet-enabled.
The core functionalities of these connected products include printing, copying, and scanning; they are not designed for data storage or processing. However, to support these primary functions, Kyocera MFPs and Printers may obtain, generate, and collect data pertaining to their usage.

During the operation of a Kyocera MFP or Printer, various types of data may be generated, subject to specific settings and configurations chosen by the user. Belows are examples of the categories of non-personal data that may be obtained, generated, or collected by our connected products and related services, depending on user-selected settings:

• Usage Data: Examples include the number of printouts, copies, scans, and toner consumption.
• Error status Log: Examples include notifications of paper jams or out-of-paper alerts
