“Respect the Divine and Love People”

The philosophy of our founder, Dr. Kazuo Inamori, said Kyocera’s mission is “to do what is is right as a human being”, a concept we include in all our decision making. By showing the importance of fairness and diligent effort, it serves as a paradigm for our conduct.

    Our beginnings were humble

Kyocera began as a suburban ceramics factory in 1959, relying on little technology and 28 trustworthy colleagues. However, we quickly established a good reputation and experienced rapid growth because everyone gave their 100% effort and managers put in the work to earn the trust of their employees. Today, our leading-edge technologies are opening new worlds and opportunities in many areas.

Sustainability is at the core of our innovation

We aim “to do what is right as a human being”, a concept we include in all decision making. And that includes protecting our precious planet and pioneering products that help solve eco problems. We set standards for eco-friendly printing with the launch of the ECOSYS in 1992 and have participated in various sustainable initiatives since the very beginning of Kyocera, taking active measures to lower our carbon footprint.
