Kyocera Document Solutions Europe Management B.V. exemplifies the social aspect of ESG through its commitment to corporate social responsibility, employee engagement, and community involvement. Here are some key ways in which our colleagues around Europe and beyond demonstrate these values.
We’re dedicated to positively impacting the communities in which we operate. Across Europe, our company engages in various social initiatives, such as educational programs, environmental awareness campaigns, sports sponsorships, and charitable activities, demonstrating a commitment to giving back and supporting local communities.
At Kyocera Document Solutions France, an initiative was rolled out that helped individuals in the community return to the workforce and integrate into teams at Kyocera. Following several months of training, several individuals joined the Kyocera family on missions that corresponded to their skills.
In order to roll out a communication strategy and accelerate the development of Kyocera brand awareness in the French market, Kyocera Document Solutions France has entered into a partnership with France Judo. This sports sponsorship is a great way for our company to get more involved with its local community in France and reach a wider audience.
“But, beyond simple business considerations, the rapprochement with France Judo is also based on shared values.” says Benjamin Claus, Marketing and Communication Director of KYOCERA Document Solutions France. “The values of the moral code of judo refer to the philosophy of Dr. Inamori, founder of the Kyocera Group, which is to contribute, through our common efforts, to the progress of society and humanity. Doing what is right as a human being, always remaining kind and sincere, acting with modesty, being combative and having courage in the face of challenges - these are the main common values that bind us together!”
