Kyocera Brand Privacy Statement

KYOCERA Document Solutions Europe Management B.V. (“Kyocera, “we” or “us”), located at Beechavenue 27, 1119 RA Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands, issued this Privacy Statement (“Statement”) to inform you, the user of the Kyocera Brand Library Platform (“Platform”), about the processing of your personal data while you are using the Platform.

We may update this Statement from time to time.

In this Statement, we will explain in detail the following:

  3. With whom we share your personal data;

FOR WHICH PURPOSES ARE WE PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

In order to provide the Platform to you and enable you to use the benefits of the Platform to the full extent, you have to create a user account. To provide you with access to your user account Kyocera processes the following categories of personal data: name, email address, password and IP address.

 

ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS ARE WE PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Kyocera processes your personal data based on its legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, whereas Kyocera’s legitimate interests consist of providing the Kyocera Brand Library Platform  to enhance engagement and collaboration of employees and international partners throughout Kyocera’s group companies to share brand content, product information and digital brand guidelines.

 

WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Kyocera uses Frontify AG, Switzerland, to provide and host the Platform and related technical support. Information on how Frontify collects and uses  personal data can be found here.

 

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA, personal data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Frankfurt.

 

FOR HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Kyocera deletes your personal data once you request us to delete your user account or your employment with Kyocera is terminated.

 

WHICH TECHNICAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL MEASURES WE HAVE TAKEN

We take the security of your personal data very seriously and take all reasonable efforts to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification.

 

YOUR RIGHTS

According to the applicable data protection law, you have the following legal rights that we wish to inform you of:

  • The right to access your personal data.
  • The right to rectify your personal data in case it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The right to have your personal data deleted (“right to be forgotten”).
  • The right to restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal data.
  • The right to Data portability.
  • In case you provided your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • You can lodge a complaint with the applicable data protection Supervisory Authority.
