19/10/2020

Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands – 19 October 2020 –Kyocera Document Solutions Europe, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, is delighted to announce the launch of its latest software offering, KYOCERA Smart Information Manager, a web-based information management system for digital document and automated workflows.

This new solution optimises the management of the information locked in hardcopy documents to improve efficiency and is aimed at companies wishing to make a rapid transition from paper-heavy environments towards streamlined, efficient digital-led operations.

With KYOCERA Smart Information Manager paper documents, electronic content, scanned images, and supported file types are captured, indexed, managed, and made easier to find, thus representing the perfect choice for small and medium-sized businesses looking to increase overall productivity.

In line with the company’s ambition to diversify its portfolio in order to serve ever-evolving customer needs, Michael Powell, Software Product Manager at Kyocera Document Solutions Europe believes that this new addition significantly reinforces Kyocera’s innovative portfolio:

“Software continues to represent an important pivot in our overall strategic plan for the coming years given the rising demand for digital solutions and automation across the world. Smart information management systems are a driving force behind the growth of this demand.”

“Manual document workflows and file searching continue to be error-prone and time-consuming processes for many companies and KYOCERA Smart Information Manager represents a robust solution which will boost users’ productivity and efficiency while also bolstering security.”

Given the nature of paper documents and their rising volume in offices around the world, the risk of files being misplaced, damaged or stolen continues to pose an unnecessary security burden. KYOCERA Smart Information Manager seeks to address this concern by offering a comprehensive digital solution.

Kyocera founder Kazuo Inamori once said, “It is critical to maintain a mindset that always seeks ways to simplify complexities.” Data continues to be at the heart of the digital age and the need for easy-to-use and easy-to-implement digital solutions which facilitate automation and enhance security has never been greater.

This new system demonstrates Kyocera’s commitment to a more efficient, secure working environment, acting as just the latest in a series of product launches which put knowledge to work in a wide variety of ways.
