Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands – 21 December 2020: Kyocera Document Solutions Europe B.V. today announced that it has been recognised as a Player in the latest Gartner Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms (CSP)*1 (Gartner subscription required for access). This is Kyocera’s first time for being recognised in this report.

Published by Gartner, “A Magic Quadrant is a culmination of research in a specific market, giving you a wide-angle view of the relative positions of the market’s competitors”*2. It evaluates vendors based on their “Completeness of Vision” and “Ability to Execute.” This Magic Quadrant report was published on November 16th and recognises Kyocera as a Niche Player.

“Gartner defines a Content Services Platform (CSP) as the foundational component in an organisation for the management and utilisation of content. CSPs provide a way for employees to retrieve and work with content in a modern, seamless way across devices and organisational boundaries*1.” CSPs enable organisations to leverage various types of content (invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders, proof of payments, bank accounts, emails, images, audio files etc.) through features such as document capturing, central archiving, automated workflows, collaboration and records management.

In order to support customers in their digital transformation and achieving a smarter workplace, Kyocera is strengthening its portfolio of content service platforms including Enterprise Content Management*3. As part of this strategy, Ceyoniq Technology GmbH, DataBank IMX, LLC, Alos GmbH, Ever Team Software SAS, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS GmbH have joined the Kyocera family in recent years, bringing leading technologies together to meet diverse customer needs.

“By broadening our portfolio and maximising synergies, we aim to make content services more accessible to customers of all sizes and industries. We are excited to be included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms and will continue to make efforts to expand our solutions, in order to help our customers put knowledge to work,” said Kozo Teramoto, Senior General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Kyocera Document Solutions Europe B.V.

Kyocera believes that being recognised as a Niche Player by Gartner in this Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms paves the way for further business expansion in the market. As changes in the workplace continue to take place at a rapid pace, the company remains committed to offering solutions which help digitise the workplace and enhance business productivity.
