When running the Quick set up tool to discover new installed Kyocera network devices, the discovery screen remains empty. No devices where discovered.
This can have several reasons:
1. network cable or connection problem.
2. the OEM setting, U265, is not set correct.
3. old version of the quick set up tool.
4. windows or TCP/IP problem.
Check your network connections, check the OEM setting in the device in case it is an MFP, take the latest version of our software library. If the problem still exist there are two options left, first go to Windows system restore and restore one of the previous restore point of your Windows XP. If that’s not possible or if that is not solving the problem, go to windows device manager and de-install TCP/IP (or your network card together with the protocol) and reboot your pc.
