Kyocera unveils KYOCERA Net Manager; a solution that automates processes to improve business productivity
06 May 2015
Kyocera Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today announced the launch of its server-based application that streamlines and secures document management, 'KYOCERA Net Manager'. This modular solution offers an easy to use interface that creates shortcuts for complex processes, shortening the time taken to process documents. It strengthens document security and adds control to printing costs, thereby transforming the way MFPs can be used in a busy office. The scalable system can be customised to suit specific customer needs, is available globally and launches in EMEAR on May 15, 2015.
KYOCERA Net Manager is a universal tool that provides straightforward monitoring and accounting of print, copy, scan and fax jobs. It hosts an array of management capabilities including monitoring of printing, secure print, pull printing with Print&Follow™*, delayed print, automatic modification of print jobs, creating and exporting reports, user management of print jobs and consolidation of various systems; all enabling it to integrate seamlessly with an existing fleet.
"Our customers rely on us to provide up-to-date innovative solutions to ensure documents are protected and to make their workflows quicker and more efficient. We do this by providing an integrated approach to input and output document management, using the right tools to ensure customer costs are controlled and reduced. KYOCERA Net Manager integrates with the KYOCERA Mobile Print application as standard, allowing printing and scanning from mobile devices. Local print spooling is enabled which provides authorised and authenticated printing even in environments where there is no KYOCERA Net Manager server in the local office." said Hans Gerd Schmidt, Product Manager, Kyocera Document Solutions Europe.
Automated, secure and accountable workflows
KYOCERA Net Manager supports comprehensive scanning and workflows which are designed to increase user efficiency and strengthen customer document processes. Unique to Kyocera is the ability to accommodate dedicated scanning and workflow processes for assigned users or groups, which can yield enormous savings. Personalised shortcuts to the settings that are used most frequently allow 'one click' operation for daily tasks. For instance, invoices and POs can be scanned and filed in one simple click from the MFP control panel.
Data security is important in companies of all sizes. Users can print, copy, scan and fax after they have logged in at a selected device using an ID card, PIN or password. This safeguards documents by ensuring they only reach the intended recipient. The ability to track everything that is being printed also enhances cost control initiatives because it is easier to see where savings can be made - whether you are a user, a manager or an IT administrator. KYOCERA Net manager is effortless to set up and maintain and easy to use via the touch panel.
