MAC OS X: Booklet Fold not available.

Booklet Fold can't be selected in printing dialogue on MAC OS X systems

Cause:
The option will only be accessible, when Booklet Option has been chosen first. OS 10.4 has a constraint refresh problem, too – you have to change to another dialogue and come back here to activate the changes.

Solution:
Booklet Fold can be found at set 2 in print features at the Print Dialogue box; in order to enable Booklet Fold, you first need to select one option from Booklet ( OS 10.4 has a Refresh Spooler issue. Please note: After selecting an option from Booklet, you need to exit Printer Features by selecting paper feed or any other selection. This forces the spooler to refresh and remove the constraint against Booklet Fold ). Go back to Printer Features and check Booklet Fold. You will now see, that Booklet Fold is enabled.
