How can I use my printer in a Mac environment?

Should I use the USB parallel adapter?

It is recommended to have a connection between Mac with the network card of the printer.

The advantage of it is to have a quick data transfer and the unlimited compatibility with all protocols (ASCII, Binary etc.). This is not the case with the most USB parallel adapters, as the parallel interface which enables printing cannot support the Binary Format. Printers with internal USB-interfaces do not have these problems.

As you may know Mac is not supporting all USB Parallel Adapters and not all of our printers have a default network connection!

Not all USB Parallel Adapters work correctly with MacIntosh. You can use USB coonection - however: it is recommend to have a connection between MacIntosh and the network card of the printer.
